Hello Fund Raising Fans!

We’re at it again… The 2010 Relay for Life is right around the corner and we’re in the middle of our fund raising efforts. If you’d like to donate to your team, you can do so using our page, Team Finger Laken Good, on the ASC Relay for Life site.

We’ve got a number of things in the works for raising money on the evening of the Relay, so if you’re in town, please stop by and see us.

The Baldwinsville Relay for Life is June 18th, 2010, at Baker High School. The festivities start at 6 p.m., so don’t miss out!

2009 Relay for Life – Now with Pictures!

Team Finger Laken Good had an awesome showing at the 2009 Relay for Life in Baldwinsville. Our on site fundraising was a dunk tank. We offered the folks on site a chance to dunk the victim volunteer for a small donation.

The first person in the tank was none other an Joe Saraceni, the Mayor of Baldwinsville. Joe did a great job kicking things off for us. He was opening taunting the numerous tax payers that were mulling about. That certainly earned him a number of dunkings. It made a lot of money for our team too.

Relay for Life

Relay For Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer. Teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Relays are an overnight event, up to 24 hours in length.
